My seven-year old thinks it is awesome and really enjoys riding it. His friends all love it, too. My husband had to use a lot of "elbow grease" when tightening the cable. He would have appreciated a rachet-type mechanism to make tightening the cable easier. It is constructed well and in such a way that I feel that my son will be safe.
