I bought the set for my daughter's third birthday and she loves it! She plays with it at least an hour a day. I like that the height adjusts to fit her and it is natural looking. The splash cloth is cute, the paints are nice, but the brush bristles push into the ferrules with a little pressure (they did this from day one). We had other brushes already, so we use those.
