Comments about Product: We got this for my daughter when she was 18 months old. I'm actually here to see how much it is going for now because it is in such good shape even 6.5 years later, we are going to sell it at a consignment sale. In spite of a good deal of use, this little kitchen has really stood the test of time and still is in excellent shape. It was also a great size and fit right into our small modern home. I'd say the size is most ideal for the toddler set, but visiting friends played with it until about age 7.

Comments about Product: I cannot say enough great things about this wonderful kitchen! Definitely encourages imaginative playtime, rather than electronic hoopla that distracts the toddler. She loves it!

Comments about Product: I have bought two of these kitchens now. The first one I purchased 8 years ago for my then 2 year old son. He LOVED it more than I could have imagined. As we added a daughter and another son to our family, its popularity only increased. We had it for 7 years before it finally succumbed to the DAILY use of three children, at which point we replaced it with a larger model. I recently bought the second kitchen for my 1.5 year old niece, and she LOVES it as much as our kids did. They live in a small apartment and the footprint is perfect for their limited space. The smaller size of this kitchen is another benefit for younger kids. I very highly recommend this kitchen.

A little cheaply made
Comments about Product: This playset is cute, and comes with some accessories, but that's about it. It's cheaply made, so the pieces are slotted and slide together to assemble. This makes it pretty rickety. It also doesn't come with a back, so if you put things in the shelves or oven, they can slide out the back or dent your walls ( if you have it against a wall). I would not by this again, wish I had gone for a better set bc this will not last long!
Comments about Product: gave this to a friend's two year old-she LOVEDit. spent the entire evening serving us her food-she really is having fun with it!!...perfect size and great quality

Comments about Product: I originally purchased this for my daughter, but when her 6th bday rolled around, she seemed too big. I was expecting #2, so I held on to it. I gave it to my son on his first bday, a little apprehensive that he might be too young. He loved it and was fascinated with it from day one. We gave him a small child's chair to use with it, so he didn't need to depend on it to stand up. He played with it almost daily for many years. We added wooden vecro veggies, and a set of recycled-plastic pots and pans, and this kitchen has seen an amazing amount of use over several years. My son is now 6, and he still plays with it. He stashes secret treasures in the oven and cupboard section, plays mail/mailbox, hides his toy cars in the oven ("garage"), and will occasionally still "cook" something. It fit nicely under the overhang of our counter in the kitchen, so he played with it almost everynight while I made dinner. After 5 years, it is still a hit. Note: the yolk came off the egg after a few years, but wood glue fixed it. I recall gluing something else too, but I expect that after so much use.

Perfect for my newly 2 year old!
Comments about Product: This kitchen is GREAT...once I figured out how to put it together. The instructions give information about assembling certain things however, the overall product comes with around 15 large pieces so it was relatively easy to figure out. We got it for my daughter's 2nd birthday and she LOVES it, as do my other 2 kids ages 6 and 3. The wooden utensils, plates, and food are really great because they don't break or get crushed like the other kitchens plus it is the PERFECT size!

A beloved toy, but a little flimsy.
Comments about Product: My in-laws wanted to buy a play kitchen for my daughter for Christmas 2010, but they had their eyes on a plastic one from one of the larger warehouse stores. I'm opposed to all that plastic in my house so I offered this as an alternative. They bought it and my husband put it together. My kids love it, but I have to say it's quite small and flimsy. It wobbles a lot and the legs loosen, but when we tried to tighten the screws we discovered that the holes were totally stripped so the screws no longer fit. I'd recommend it to others but I'd also add that they should include some wood glue or something to make it a little sturdier. Also, be prepared for it to be much smaller than you expect. All in all I'm happier than if we'd gotten a plastic one though. I don't mind my baby chewing on the wooden parts as much as I would the plastic.

Lots of fun for little cooks
Comments about Product: My two year old granddaughter and her older cousins have a great time playing together with the kitchen. It creates lots of imaginative play. The two year old also plays well with it by herself, making pretend meals and mixing things up.
