This book has been a staple on our shelves for many years. This doll was purchased as a gift for my youngest, who was thrilled to find this recognizable, little boy character in his stocking. The illustrations are lovely and unique and the text describes a winter day from a small child's point of view simply and sweetly. A story any child who has played in the snow will relate to, and one which captures the experience for any child who has yet to. Sure to make you crave a cup of cocoa even if read in July!
