My daughter got this as a gift when she was 5 1/2 and although she has a strong interest in all things crafty, this was too difficult for her little hands. She got frustrated and needed lots of help. I will store it away for now and try again in a year or 2. Very cute, well made product for a child a little older, maybe 8+. Highly recommend the book "Corking" for additional instructions and projects.

Years ago, I bought this knitting mushroom for my daughter, and she still loves to knit. Last Christmas, I bought one for my granddaughter. It was a hit again! What a lovely way to start children out in a time-honored craft. Beautiful colors and quality materials make it a joy to use for years.
