We purchased the individual dolls of the mom and the baby. My 2 year old daughter loves playing with these dolls. The mother doll has wire arms which actually can be posed to carry the baby. They're small enough to put into her 'to go' bag that we carry her toys in when we go out to eat. We have a really small play house that these dolls are too big for, but that doesn't stop her from playing with them in the little house. They'd be perfect for a larger doll house that we may get her when she's a touch older. The mom doll is very high quality and we've had no issues. Great details and sturdy. She's of a much better quality than the baby; the baby is just a little ball of fluff, really. The leaf bed is too small for it to stay in, so it has gone unused. After a few months of play, the wings came off the baby, too. (Not that we've missed them.) All that said, this is a *great* combo and I would definitely recommend to others looking for this kind of product. We'll probably pick up the rest of the family for at Christmas.
