got this for my 4 year old daughter, who loves her little stash of pretty, sparkly and otherwise precious treasures. The first heart chime that I received was broken. I called and it was quickly replaced with one that works. My daughter likes it a lot, it was probably one of her favorite xmas gifts. It's basically just a big, heart shaped version of those Chinese chiming ball sets - sounds the same, is the same on the inside. Because the chime is heart shaped, the "clapper" inside gets a little caught up at times, but this hasn't caused any distress. It's holding up well, despite getting shaken and dropped a lot. One thing to note is that it's a bit heavy. Not a problem for us, but could be for a much younger child.

I plan to give this heart chime to my daughter on our first overnight get away -- just us two. The trip is a gift for all the hard work she did in school last year. This is a treasure for her to remember our trip and something she'll enjoy for along time. It's well made and sounds beautiful. There's magic in that not so small heart!

I bought 5 of these Chime Hearts and gave one to each of my children (a boy & girl). I told them that the heart has our love in it and when they hear the music they will remember how much mommy and daddy love them. They like the way the rounded hearts feel in their hands and they especialy like the gentle chime sounds. It's very soothing to listen to during quiet moments. I gave two more as gifts, one to a friend and the other to a child. The fifth one I kept for myself!

I bought these for my daughters for valentines day and they LOVE them. My son was a bit jealous that he didn't get one. My daughters are 4 and 6, however, my 1-yr old loves the sound they make. These were one of those "afterthought" gifts that turned out to be a big hit!

My granddaughter knows that she can summons a fairy with this special sound. Nothing has this sound and the fairies know that they are safe to come out to play. Her imagination takes over and she and her imaginary friends have such a good time reading books, and talking about different things in life!
