The Noel Waldorf Doll

This doll inspired me to make a whole wardrobe of clothes, and my own Waldorf dolls. She's super sweet, soft and cuddly but also solidly put together. The little reindeer that comes with the doll is a little 2-dimensional, but the doll is so nice. I want each of my children to have a doll like this.

I was really disappointed with this doll, and sent her back for a return. Mind you my order said it was the "2007 Christmas Doll" (and it was sent from Hearthsong), while I had ordered this "Noel Doll" from Magic Cabin (on sale). But they had the same code and I was told they were the same. The doll I received seemed smaller than 15 inches, and her face and hair were not nearly as sweet as the one in the picture (who looks so cute!). Her hair was thinner with three of four strands for bangs. Her smile was a deeper "u" shape which seemed very artificial. The clothing seemed to be made of cheap synthetics, which wouldn't have bothered me if the doll quality had been high. The sweater on the doll I received was green and white, not black and white. Also be aware the doll's green eyes have beige darts at the side which you can't really see in this picture. I have other handmade dolls which are of much better quality. The doll's body seemed sweet but small for a 15 inch doll. It's too bad because I was quite excited to get this doll, and I think the doll pictured looks very cute.
