Well made interesting

We received this set two years ago. The graphics are polyurethaned to the blocks and do not come off. The blocks are well made, and have a nice variety of sizes & shapes. The set comes with a book that gives examples of "real" castles to build, with a visual guide for how to build each one. Not all steps are included, so there is some figuring out the kids have to do-- or you need an adult to help work out the construction if they are really young (4 or under)-- the older mine get, the more fun they have with this set figuring out the challenge of each castle on their own. But even when they couldn't build the castles in the book, they've had fun using the blocks with their own ideas for how to create spaces for imaginary adventures. The blocks also come in a nice case that is used for storage and there is a graphic in the book that shows you how you can put all the pieces back in. Great product.

I was worried about these blocks because of the review that said they has stickers, but I found that they were good quality. The blocks are coated in something clear so that the stickers will not peel off, and there is so much detail on each block - they really could not have painted it on. When my kids opened these on Christmas they started building right away and we almost couldn't get them to open anything else. They are expensive, but they'll get lots of play.
Objects are smaller than they appear

From the photo, I really thought the blocks would be normal sized...they are TINY! I don't know of any kids that want to play with a travel size block set. The pieces would be borderline difficult for adults to play with.

Not worth the money

I was disappointed that the blocks just had "stickers" on the blocks for the design, and extreemly disappointed that they were less than perfect. For the price of these blocks all of these stickers should have been straight, but that was not the case in the set I got.
