We received the Rubens Barn Molly Doll for review for our family blog, and oh boy did we love it. It is almost as tall as our baby girl, and we've already had it in the washing machine with no problems. We washed it on the handwash cycle, and it came out good as new after a little spit up incident.

Love this! Cups are soft and perfect for baby. The gnome and 2 cups have a bell. The cups can be reversed so the inside and outside colors can be used to enhance visual interest. I love Kathe Kruse, but I have to say, this toy is one of my favorites.

This is a wonderful toy! My six-year-old daughter has been asking me for months for a boat for the bath. I looked high and low in all the major stores and nothing came close. (And a lot of bath toys are just plain silly and/or poorly made. Ask any mom.) I saw this in the catalog and jumped on it. It is fabulous! Sturdy plastic, smartly designed, dries easily, perfect for the tub and the cars float too! Also, her little plastic mermaid dolls fit in it and she likes that the boat came with the cars for extra fun. She is thrilled and so am I. Don't hesitate to leap on this one. This puzzle is beautiful, and kids do love dragons. I ordered it for a group of 3-5 year olds. There are actually 58 pieces, not 36 as advertised, so they needed a lot of help to put it together. It was a fun activity with an adult, but really better for older kids.

We bought this for our 5 year old son and he is already enjoying it in the sandbox. It seems to be quite sturdy and hoping that it will hold up. The directions are a little confusing (pictures are tiny) and one of the bolts was way smaller than the other one. We did make it work though.

Our eight year old adopted Granddaughter seems to be very artistically talented and her creativity really came out with the fairies she and her little friend designed. Her single father tells me their house is like a fairyland! he said they spent hours laughing and playing with the fairies they created.

Is it wrong that the adults keep stealing this game from the kids? My 5-year-old is still trying to get the hang of the large rackets, but she enjoys the volleyball. And, my husband and I have a blast with the oversize tennis. The net is on the short side, but otherwise this set is really fun for the whole family.

Grandma bought these garden tools for her 2 1/2yr. old granddaughter, Hannah, who loves to pick flowers, water flowers and plants, and to dig weeds. She loves the "shovels" and gloves.
The wheelbarrow which we purchased too is the right size for her to use. She's learning fast.

Brightly colored and sturdy. We plan to place these adorable items at the base of one of the huge pine trees in our yard. We know how excited the grandchildren will be when they see them and can imagine how much fun they will have making fairy adventures.

This is my daughter's first gnome house and I am so glad I bought it. As soon as I put it together she fell in love with it. She's been playing with it ever since and she especially loves the wooden animals it comes with. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the gnome dolls because they are discontinued so I guess I'll have to look for a substitution.

Doesn't come with a training line as video implies. You need to buy another Slackline if you want one or make one yourself. Instructions recommend no using line barefoot or with multiple users as video implies.

We have a recreational farm house with a giant oak tree in the backyard. I have five different style swings in the massive old oak tree and this one is the hands down favorite. The kids love it from the young teenagers to the two year olds.

My girls are older, but they like the look and feel of the crayon rocks. They have a lovely, natural appeal. They look like giant jelly beans so they were a nice, non-sugary addition to our Easter baskets. They are not for drawing detailed pictures but encourage a different creative style.

I was hesitant to pay this much for a doll, but after receiving it in the mail, the quality is undeniable. It will be the perfect gift for my daughter's first birthday. I just wish magic cabin sold an outfit or two to go with the doll! Beautifully crafted face and super soft, huggable body. Love it!

These are charming little fairies with bendable arms and legs. They can sit in the wooden ferriswheel but fall off anything like horses, etc. But they are very cute and a nice addition to the playroom.

This is an especially nice Steiff bunny. Obviously, it doesn't belong in the toy box. It needs to be enjoyed and played with by an older child or with supervision.

These are very cute fairies. They are delicate though. I feel if you were to keep bending the arms and legs too much they may break. There are some imperfections in the sewing. But these are seen with an adult eye, my daughter loves them.

This is a very fun instrument. I was quickly playing songs and my six-year-old daughter easily learned how to use the notation sheets. I bought the case and extra music sheets for the variety, though they do not all truly align with the strings.
Tuning took quite a while because the supplied tuning tool had too much chrome applied that made the opening too small and therefore it did not fit every tuning peg. I tried sockets, but they did not fit "snuggly" and my mini crescent wrench was too wide to be used since it touched other tuning pegs. I wish I had another four sided tuning tool. I had to push down hard on the tool so it would not slip and that made the time it took to tune much longer as subtle adjustments were lost.

"Molly" is my 2 1/2-year-old daughter's new best friend. She's never attached to a blanket or anything so I had high hopes for this doll, and she loves it! Molly is a beautifully crafted doll - I love her soft hair, and she's the perfect size and weight for a toddler to hold. As a reviewer said below, yes the dolls are "born in Sweden" but "made in China," but just because they're made in China doesn't mean their using bad labor practices. I bought this for my very, very active 2 year old son, and my 4 year old daughter. They both love it!
They've been climbing on it every day for a month now, and they both have gotten so good at climbing, pulling themselves up, balancing, hanging, etc.
It is VERY STURDY - made of beautiful wood and is not an eyesore to have in your house. We actually have it in our largest living room, right in the middle.
The only other toy in the house that competes as a favorite is the (unfortunately plastic) Step 2 Up & Down Roller Coaster.
I was so happy to find this in wood, and so much happier to put it together and see how nice it is and how much my kids love it!
It seems like a lot of money, but when your kids can climb and play inside on snowy, rainy, cold days, it is money well spent!

This is hands-down my daughter's most favorite toy ever. She got them in her stocking for Christmas and has worn them almost every day since. They are super durable. I was really impressed with the strong fabric. They look so airy and fragile, but the material really is tough. She is four and can get them on and off easily by herself. She loves to wear them everywhere. I never imagined that they would be such a hit and I wish I had bought them sooner.

Such a simple toy and yet it has turned out to be one of my 10-month-old's favorites. It arrives feeling a little stiff but after running it through your hands and playing with it for a day, it's super silky soft. The fabric is very thin, so baby can see through it when it's on his face. This makes peek-a-boo games with his "silkie" lots of fun. We can take turns hiding under it, blowing it up in the air or running it over baby's face to make him laugh. He loves to watch me stuff it into a cup or toy with a hole and then will pull it out like a magic trick. It also makes a great toy to snuggle with. Hours of fun!

We received this as a gift and I'm mostly happy with it, but it does have its issues. It is well-made and very sturdy. It is also very large and heavy, a bit too heavy for a baby to carry. It is also much too large for the six small pieces that fit into the holes in the roof. It could fit so many more pieces with its size. My biggest complaint is that the pieces fit into holes they were not intended for, so it's not exactly a puzzle-type shape sorter since kids can fit several of the pieces into any hole they like. Still, my baby likes it and it keeps him occupied and because it's so huge, I can stash several toys in it and store them out of the way when there's not enough room in the toy basket to hold everything.

I will disclose that we returned this doll before our daughter ever laid eyes on it, so take my review for what it's worth: an adult's opinion of a child's doll. We bought our 2.5 year-old the Erik doll, thinking he resembled her older brother, who is strawberry blond with big blue eyes, but Erik turned out to be more blond than strawberry. No big deal. The doll felt good to hold (solid and sturdy but soft). The doll appeared to be well-made, but I can't vouch for its longevity. I was pleasantly surprised to find little boy bits under his diaper - I mean, why not? I think it makes sense to not make the human body something to deny or be ashamed of. So, with all this good stuff, you're probably wondering why I returned it. First, my husband found him creepy. I thought he was endearing, but I could see his point. Second, the seam down the front of the face is weird. Third, he's heavy and a bit of a bulk for a wee one to carry about. And finally, and I hate to admit this, I don't like that he's made in China. I know it's ridiculous, but "designed in Sweden" makes it worse. I don't like when companies act under some pretense that their products are superior just because they were designed elsewhere - aren't most products designed elsewhere, and then the cheap labor is taken advantage of? It almost makes me feel like they are trying to pull a fast one by saying "designed in USA/Sweden/Australia. Give it up! We ended up buying a much cheaper cuddle doll made with fair labor in India. I'm not judging all made in China merchandise as being inferior or intrinsically bad, but in this case, it irked me.

I ordered the Summer Fairy along with the complete set for my 7 yr old daughter as her Christmas gift from Santa. I have been repeatedly disappointed about several items. First, when the doll arrived it had a hole in the shoulder of the bodysuit. I called and they sent me a new outfit. Second, they really need to update the information and photos of the dolls and their accessories so that the customers know what they are actually getting. I spent extra money to get the accessories (hat/shoes/purse) and they are not as pictured. The shoes are a hot pink felt that does not match the doll at all and they also dont have the ties that you tie around the ankle as show in the picture, so the shoes are always falling off (one is already lost after a couple of days). The hat is NOT AT ALL as depicted! It is described as "felt"...it is more of a parachute type fabric that is a bit slippery and then it is filled with cotton, so it is kind of like a comforter. It doesn't even fit on the fairies head...it is completely unusable and a complete waste of money!!! I called about this and Magic Cabin did NOTHING about it. I would LOVE to have a hat that actually fits. Third, 9 days after she got the fairy the right leg came off. The button hinges on the sides of the knee popped of and the leg from the knee down came off. I just called customer service and I am sending the doll back to be replaced. Not at all what I expect for spending $115!

This is a great play tent. Our daugther got it for Chrismtas this year and loved it. It is sturdy and strong. I like it is fabric as well. She loves playing in this tent. I would recommend this to a friend.

I ordered one of the Rubens Barn Baby dolls for my 3yr old daughter and she was so lovely I had to get two Linne dolls for my older sons. They had noticed these in the catalog and were really interested because of the cute costumes. At 7 & 10 they aren't really into dolls, but these had something magical about them that they really liked. We got the pinecone and moss and they are so adorable. Incredibly soft and a nice small size. The clothes easily go on & off too, so they can be dressed in "normal" clothes for traditional play too. The quality is really fantastic & being machine washable is a huge plus. Definitely will buy more.

I accidentally got the "blueberry" doll instead of the "bluebird" (my error not magic cabin's). But it is so precious I have decided to keep it and order another one! The hair on there dolls are so cute! I am impressed by how well they are made . They are a refreshing change from what you might find in the run of the mill toy store.

When this darling doll came I was puzzled because there is a silver loop attached at the head like it is meant to be hung rather than played with. The pictures don't seem to show the loop. I was going to cut it off before Christmas but I accidentally wrapped it before doing so. My daughter loves it- loop and all. it just allows her to make it "fly". Just goes to show- moms don't always know what makes a toy fun!

This doll is very big for my three year old- but she adores it!!! I really love the fabic it is made of (soft and durable). The wild hair is my favourite. She is also plump- a huge plus for cuddles!

Was suprised it arrived so fast and was smaller than anticipated. BUT it works great, puts out just the right amount of light amd the selection of sounds is good. Worked great putting my two year old to bed. The stars don't move but the colors change which was enough to keep her interested and also tire out her eyes which is what I was looking for in a night light. The top plastic is very thin and easy to poke/break, so make sure you keep this out of reach of little hands. Overall, I am very happy with this product.

This toy was a wonderful surprise! It was much cuter in person and much larger than expected. I am excited to give it to my 2 1/2 yr. old niece, and will not worry if her 8 month old brother gets his hand on it, as there are no sharp edges or small parts that can be removed.

Everyone in my household, from our two-year-old up to Dad the old fart, has enjoyed this kit immensely. We would burn one candle each night at dinner until it was gone and then move on to the next child's creation, which made it very special for each child to have his/her work displayed and enjoyed at family dinners. The kids have given their candles as gifts, we have made small candles for birthday cakes, you name it. Cleanup is easy and they can pretty much do this unsupervised as long as I pre-cut the wicks for them. This is a great kit for those parents among us who admittedly do not love crafting but want to let our children enjoy all the fun and creativity that crafting offers! Also, this kit lasts a long time. I bought the kids their first set just after Christmas and it lasted almost a year (we did not really make candles much over the summer). Highly recommend.

I purchased two Rubens Barn Linne dolls for my daughter and niece. They were much smaller than I expected, and my daughter is almost four. So, I'm giving the doll I purchased for her, to another niece, who is 14 mos. The second doll was already going to a 2 year old niece, so it's perfect for her little hands. I loved the soft, cuddly feel of the dolls so much, I ended up purchasing the Rubens Barn Kid Doll for my daughter (Linnea). I can't wait to see her reaction! Most dolls end up with their clothes off, and she carries them around this way, everywhere. So, I wasn't going to spend much on a baby doll. When the first doll was too small, I ordered a Manhattan Toy Stella doll for her, which was bigger, but less expensive. However, when Stella arrived, her softness was nothing compared to the little Rubens Barn babies! I sent Stella back, and ordered the Rubens Barn Kid doll, instead. These dolls are SO sweet and expressive, with their sparkling eyes, soft hair, and adorable belly buttons, it won't matter if it ends up without its clothes...it will still be beautiful! My daughter carries around a Cabbage Patch doll, but won't sleep with it, because of its hard head. I feel sure she'll love sleeping with this soft, cuddly, handmade sweetie!

These are really sweet little wooden animals. I wouldn't have bought them if I just saw them on their own, but coupled with the little forest family and seeing the little forest family kid sitting on one of them, I could see what a perfect addition to a little forest family environment they would be. Useful (i.e., that they could be ridden), and totally adorable.

We hung this outside from a tree (used a hook and a twisting clip); boys loved it (2 & 4) and Dad was able to get in with them too since it will hold up to 250 lbs. It got dirty quickly but if that is a concern, then keep it indoors (have not tried washing it though I believe it is machine washable). The 2y.o. ripped off the velcro 'tie-back' that keeps the 'door' open but that is to be expected (age and inclination)... The lights were a bit tough to hang esp. as had to undo velcro around the top which is nice and tight (how you want it to be) but they really work and the boys have had on at night and the pod has a nice little glow. They like to hang out in there and like that it swings/twists a bit (not a great deal). Some assembly (rods in bottom to make round) req.

These dolls are absolutely adorable, they have a magic quality in their expressions. They are also anatomically correct! Ive always wanted to find a cute doll that included the important bits! I think this attribute may help chase away those giggles sprinkled with a bit o shame. Anyhoo, I do wish they were a little smaller so to fit better in the arms at the age of potty training, seriously considering exchanging for the smaller dolls, the bottles and binkis are making that a tough decision!

My mother bought my son this Hugglepod and we all fell in love with it! I sit in it with my son for story time, he loves to play with his toy cars in it as well as swing in it. There is so many ways you can play with it! AWESOME PRODUCT!!!

My son and daughter both love this craft! She tends to pick the softer colors and he the bolder(perfect to make good use of all the colors!) The one down side is that they do need my help for the very end to keep the loops being held by the loom...not sure how to resolve this other than a Mother's patience! The potholders make great gifts then to the grandparents/aunts/uncles/cousins for their birthdays! We had this for 2 years and it keeps getting pulled back out!(My kids are 7 and 9 now)

We gave this to our son for his 6th birthday and he loves it! My husband was worried because it is very real for being pretend and is worried about my son shooting at his sister! The bow and arrows are well made and the suction cups on the arrows will at least keep any puncture injuries to a minimum.

I bought the set for my daughter's third birthday and she loves it! She plays with it at least an hour a day. I like that the height adjusts to fit her and it is natural looking.
The splash cloth is cute, the paints are nice, but the brush bristles push into the ferrules with a little pressure (they did this from day one). We had other brushes already, so we use those.

These dolls are so charming, cuddly, and very well constructed! They're the perfect size for little ones, substantial enough for traditional doll play, but small enough for young kids to manage. My daughter and I wouldn't mind collecting all of them!

1. I was pleasantly suprised by these wings. I bought the orange butterfly, and purple butterfly, and green parrot wings, and they're all great. The colors are very vivid and the butterfly style is especially nice to look at.
2. simple and easy for a child to put on, and they can fit many sizes.
3. The idea of these as a loose fabric is brilliant and refreshing compared to the typical toy wings with flimsy support wire or plastic that don't look quite right--plus it's really cool to see my girl walking around with wings folded under her jacket. These wings don't pretend to be anything they're not, and are more reminscent of capes; and combined with the beautiful pattern have the feel of something sincerely ancient and beautiful.
