I bought this 6 months ago for my daughter's 1st birthday. "Baby" has become a favorite. After countless nights in the crib, falls in the parkinglot, and a few dinosaur hunts in the sandbox she still looks very good. For most dirt a damp rag or saline wipe does the job. She has gone through the wash once in a lingerie bag on cold after exploring the potty. The only real wear visable is some polling on her braids, but a sweater shaver took care of that. Great buy! I would rather buy one quality doll than 4 or 5 plastic ones.

My daughter received the doll as a gift. She is almost 1 year old and loves to feed her and put her to bed. The dolls fabric is very soft and well made. The only thing that I didn't expect, the doll has a different dress on than what is shows on the picture. The dress is also very cute. The red of the doll is a chinese read. Love that read, you just don't see it on the picture.

my daughters 2nd Christmas gift and she loves this doll. the only negative is after i hand washed it (mostly surface) had a strange smell to it. even after drying. but still it is a beautiful doll and i hate to end on a negative note because there are far more things that i like about the doll then don't. and she loves it.

This doll is "the little sister for Gretchen" my 8 yr old loves both this doll and the kathy kruse Gretchen doll, she changes their clothes, plays make believe, and we have made clothes for these dolls! They have their own cribs but usually sleep with my daughter! We also have the suitcase trio we bought from magic cabin for their clothes! We love Magic Cabin!

I bought one in each color for my granddaughters who are 18 months and 5 years old. Haven't given them to them yet (for Christmas) but I am disappointed and think the 5 year old might not be happy with hers. I know they are advertised for toddlers, and I think that is appropriate. As with most things from this catalog, however, I think they are overpriced.

I love that this doll is high quality, it has personality which many other dolls that you find at other stores do not have. It is cute, soft, and very huggable. The size is wonderful for my little girl. We are using it to help teach her how to be gentle and sweet with babies, as she is going to be a big sister soon.

A sweet dolly for little ones

Our family loves Kathe Kruse products and when our 2 yr old daughter needed a soft doll to sleep with we purchased this one in red. We love her and we love the crafstmanship. It is a pricey doll, but I know it's a doll she'll hang on to and that is special to her. I'd rather spend the $$ on something like this--less commercially produced and made of more trustworthy materials.
