I bought this for my transportation loving boys and they do enjoy playing with it. However, it is not a toy they request (we rotate toys in and out of our play area). They can't set it up by themselves and, once up, it rarely engages them for more than half an hour. I can't figure out why -- it looks awesome and we even bought some of the Aqualand extras like a pump and some additional canal. They don't create narratives when they play with it the way they do when they're just digging in the sand box. Also, I had hoped to use it for indoor play but the amount of water it takes to fill it makes it too unwieldy to lift up to a sink to dump.
