I almost laughed when I went back to read the description of this and saw the word "easy". I pulled this out for a craft to entertain my daughters, niece, nephew and a friend's little girl (ages 11, 7, 7, 5, 5) and was very disappointed. The concept of tracing the small sections and then cutting "outside" the lines was very hard for all but the 11 year old. They couldn't manage to judge the space needed to have enough extra paper for gluing without it being too big and overlapping into the next space. My 11 year old ended up having to help everyone else cut (as I only have 2 hands!) and got frustrated quickly since she couldn't make her own designs.
Overall I was very sad that this beautiful looking project was such a disaster. I'll have to do some very creative thinking to see if there is a way I can change this to make it feasible. A disappointment because you don't expect to have to redesign a "kit". :(

This was very disappointing. I bought this a winter present for my daughter. It does not come with the stained glass paper! I felt the description was misleading and for the price it should come with the paper. So the only activity for a small child is punching out pre-cut holes in card stock paper, applying some glue. If you wanted to make the stained glass you would have to trace the design on square paper and cut it out and glue it. A little too complicated for a five year old. What we ended up doing was gluing the two matches together and hanging them from the ceiling. Not really a kid project but it makes a fun decoration. I wouldn't have paid [$] if I knew it didn't actually come with the stained glass paper.

Made the snowflakes with a 7 and 3 year old. Cut out larger pieces for the 3 year old to help tape on to snowflake. Using glue was messy and hard for the kids to keep on the narrow cutouts. Clear tape worked great. Both kids enjoyed creating.
