This is a well made product & it is Bigger than we imagined! My daughter is enjoying it - but I had to inject some additional magic. Magic Cabin tried to show what it really looks like but be warned - it is really bare bones. When I opened it I knew I'd need to go to our local craft store to dress it up to look like the catalogue image. I bought some flowers, a couple extra baskets and beads etc to dress it up so that it would feel like the image in the catalogue looks.

My daughter loves fairies and constantly is reading fairy books and drawing her own fairy characters. This is why I splurged on this toy and she does like it though not any more than her other, less expensive fairy dolls. Also, the doll does not pose as shown in the catalogue and this was a big disappointment.

This is an absolutely enchanting toy. My two girls got the home, two dolls and their accessory sets for Christmas two years ago. It is not an inexpensive toy, but it has been well worth the cost as my girls have played with the set for many, many hours and continue to play with it today (they are now ages 11 and 7). It is well made, but be careful when pulling the plastic off the treehouse when unpacking it, as we accidentally broke off one of the hammock hooks. My husband was able to repair this with some wood glue. Other than that one incident (our fault), once the set is assembled, it is well made and has withstood the test of time from three kids, a cat, and many visiting toddlers. The accessories really make this playable; I highly encourage buyers to consider getting the whole shebang. We own all four dolls and their full equipment setups (two dolls came last year for Xmas, two the year before). My girls take turns draping the treehouse with silks, baskets, wool rope, and whatever takes their fancy at the time. They've used dried flowers, twigs, string, yarn, embroidery floss, scraps of fabric, and even silk flowers to enhance their fairy bower. The tiny baskets are put to use to carry things, to store items, or merely for decoration and even sometimes turn into hats. The silk squares can be made into dresses, blankets or hammocks. The wool roving becomes pillows, nests, cocoons, bowls, fluff, bushes or trees. Everything can be used in a multitude of ways, by multiple children. Sometimes we've had 5 children playing around the fairy house at the same time. We own the lovely fairies sold with the house, the little pocket fairies that Magic Cabin sells, as well as some other dolls from other places that are all used interchangeably for play. Many stuffed animals (in addition to the fairy friends) are pressed into service. So too are felted toys, small knickknacks, puppets or what have you. In the summer time, the house has moved outdoors for play on our porch. In the winter it lives in a corner of our living room. It is easy to pull apart and reassemble. Finally, children become more imaginative when playing with this precisely because the items included are fairly general and non-specific. When the purpose of something is ambiguous, children are allowed to be more expressive with how they utilize it. I would put this doll set on the list of our most favorite toys!

My daughter was never interested in dolls until she saw these. She loved the flowing, shimmery hair and the inventive, playful outfits. She received the Winter fairy from Santa last year and still plays with it a year later. I was pleasantly surprised that the doll is as well made as it is, since my daughter tends not to be very gentle with her things. The clothes as well as the doll have lasted almost without visible wear for a year now. We did not purchase the tree home last year, and instead made Winter a little home in a basket using the 11-piece accessory set, and that worked well, but this year my daughter asked for the home, as well as another doll.

My daughter recieved this for her sixth birthday, and declared it the best gift ever! She has the fairy and her house, and just loves them both. I am happy because it is not plastic, but love the natural fibers.

My daughter just loves her enchanted fairy with the fairy home accessory set. She has enjoyed many hours of imaginative play. She looks forward to adding another seasonal fairy to her set.
