Terra Cotta Bird Water Whistles, Set of 2

Sorry, this product is currently not available.

Just how did a bird get into the house? The lovely warble these glazed terra-cotta whistles make when you fill them with water and blow into the mouthpiece is so realistic, it's hard to believe the sound isn't coming from a real, live bird. Experiment with different water levels and breaths to create a repertoire of beautiful bird calls.

For ages 3 and up.

• Fill them with water and blow into the mouthpiece
• Create a repertoire of beautiful bird calls
• Their lovely warble is so realistic

Approx. 3" long

Our daughters love them!

Our girls love these! They are 3 and 5 and are capable of playing gently with them. (They *are* easily breakable, as they are terra cotta.)They make a lovely sound and are easy to use. The five year old could do it immediately by herself and the three year old only needed to be shown to not put her lips past the opening. They had a more durable wooden one when they were younger, but these terra cotta ones are better- better sound, easier to use. (They had a very hard time using the wooden one, which eventually got moldy.) I highly recommend.

Fun, nostalgic toy

The first time one was dropped on Christmas Day, it broke. I actually placed a second order for another set becuase they are fun enough I wanted them to last more than an hour or two. The ceramic material is extremely breakable, but probably also what gives the toy such authentic bird sounds.

Very cute, but needs better packaging

The most beautiful sounds

While on vacation this summer we were walking through the main square of Orvietto in Italy when we heard the most unusual bird singing... after looking up at the buildings and the sky, the cutest little girl walked up to my husband and blew into her bird whistle... When we got home we were telling the story so I went online and you carry the identical whistles... I now have another memory to cherish!
